Why coding-only practice is not enough
Students often solve LeetCode quietly, then freeze when they must explain an approach on a call. Online assessments and interviews expect both working code and clear narration.
An online mock with a coding round forces you to hear the prompt, clarify constraints, write in an editor, run tests, and keep talking when stuck.
How Apply’s coding turn works
Enable coding at Easy, Medium, or Hard when you start the mock. When a coding turn begins, an editor and terminal appear inside the meeting.
Write a simple solution, run the provided test cases, and explain your approach out loud. The session score tracks coding tests passed along with spoken answers.
Prep loop that compounds
Day A: solve 3–5 previous year questions for one company from the PYQs library without a timer pressure.
Day B: timed set for the same company. Day C: mock interview with coding enabled for that company and role.
After the mock, note whether failures came from problem selection, bugs, or explanation. Fix one category per week instead of changing everything at once.
Safety and honesty notes
Use the practice room to improve your own skill. Do not treat reported PYQs as guaranteed questions, and do not submit fabricated project claims during HR turns.
