Wipro Technical Interview Questions for Freshers (2026)
Wipro technical interview questions for freshers — fundamentals, project questions, and coding basics that appear in Wipro panels.
Wipro technical rounds reward clear fundamentals over depth. Here is the question mix and how to prepare for it.
How the Wipro technical round is structured
After Wipro's online test (aptitude + programming section), the interview typically has a technical round followed by HR. The technical round runs 20–40 minutes and covers fundamentals, your projects, and sometimes a quick coding or SQL question.
Wipro panels screen for trainability — they ask questions on your resume's keywords and check whether you can explain concepts in simple words.
Fundamentals that appear most
OOP (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation), SQL (joins, group by, basic queries), DBMS (keys, normalization), OS basics (process vs thread), and basic data structures (arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues).
If you listed Java or Python on your resume, expect language questions: collections, exception handling, memory basics for Java, or lists and dictionaries for Python.
Project and situational questions
Be ready for walk me through your project with depth: why this stack, what you built yourself, how you tested it, and what you would improve. Wipro panels probe for authenticity — if your resume says you built it, expect to be asked how.
Situational questions also appear: how do you handle a deadline you cannot meet, or what do you do when stuck on a task. Answer with a short structure: action, reason, result.
How to prepare
Revise fundamentals from your resume first, then practice project stories, then run 2–3 timed mock interviews covering the full technical + HR sequence. Use the Wipro prepare guide at /prepare/wipro-technical-interview and mock interviews at /mock-interview for realistic sessions.
