Free AI Mock Interview for Freshers: How to Start
How freshers can start a free AI mock interview online for campus placements — setup, question types, coding rounds, and a simple weekly practice plan on Apply.
You do not need a paid coaching package to rehearse interviews. A free AI mock interview lets you practice speaking, coding, and recovering from silence before the real campus round.
What “free to start” should include
A useful free mock interview is more than a chatbot. You need spoken questions, a chance to answer out loud, optional coding, and feedback you can act on.
Apply’s web mock interview is free to start after Google sign-in. Sessions stay focused at 5–10 questions so practice feels like a real campus interview, not an endless quiz.
How to set up your first session
Open apply.neexmeet.com/mock-interview, sign in, and enter a target company and role (for example TCS System Engineer or Amazon SDE Intern).
Choose HR, technical, or mixed. Add a short job description if you have one. Enable coding only after you can already solve a few Easy PYQs for that company.
Pick English first if that is your interview language. Switch to Hindi or another supported language only when you want to rehearse the same stories in that language.
What to do after the score screen
Write down one weak answer and one strong answer. Rewrite the weak answer in your own words, then run a shorter mock the next day focused on that topic.
Do not memorize the AI’s phrasing. Interviewers notice scripted answers. Use the transcript to improve structure, evidence, and clarity.
Weekly plan for freshers
Two coding PYQ blocks from the company library, one technical mock with coding, one HR/mixed mock, and one feedback rewrite day.
Track sessions in Applications & progress so you can see which companies and question types still feel shaky before placement week.
