Interview Prep
Interview Preparation Free: Tools Every Fresher Should Use
Free interview preparation tools for freshers in India — mock interviews, question banks, aptitude tests, and how to combine them into a routine.
Everything a fresher needs for interview prep is available free. Here is the tool stack and the routine that uses it.
The free tool stack
A mock interview tool for spoken practice (AI or a practice partner), a DSA practice platform for coding rounds, a company PYQ bank for OA patterns, aptitude mock tests for first rounds, and a resume builder for the application itself.
Every category has free options — the skill is choosing one tool per category and using it consistently, not collecting ten platforms you never open.
Build the weekly routine
Monday–Thursday: 45 minutes of DSA on your chosen platform, one problem solved aloud. Friday: aptitude mock test. Saturday: full mock interview plus review. Sunday: resume or application work, one hour max.
The routine compounds: aptitude and DSA feed the OA, mocks feed the interview, and the resume feeds the application — all from free tools.
What free tools miss
Free question banks often lack company-specific patterns, and generic mocks miss company round styles. Balance generic practice with company PYQs and company-flavored mock sessions, especially in the final two weeks.
Scored feedback also varies — a tool that only records without scoring forces you to self-review, which is slower. Pick tools with structured feedback where possible.
The Apply stack
Apply combines the loop in one place: free AI mock interviews with voice and optional coding at /mock-interview, a 64+ company PYQ library at /pyqs, and an ATS resume builder at /dashboard/generate — free to start.
